Lesson Plans
Play Here: Cell Rap!
In my five years at James Madison University and in my four years of teaching I created many lesson plans and curriculum that I hope to one day apply in my classroom. They cater to different grades, subjects, and themes, and many are integrated curriculum, STEM and STEAM. I have also created several ESL lessons during my time teaching in China.

ESL Lessons
Applied with Mandarin-speaking students studying English
These English Lessons were prepared weekly for Primary, Kindergarten, and Pre-School students. I was able to build my own curriculum, so these are story PowerPoints incorporating the words for the week. These stories would then be supplimented by games, songs, and videos. Most videos were found on the YouTube channels of Debbie & Friends and The Singing Walrus. They were taught to one class of about fifteen students ages 4-6, then adjusted and taught to a class of about ten students ages 2-3. I used some of these same story lessons with the Primary students, ages 6-9 but they were supplemented with more assessment activities, and used along-side a purchased ESL curirculum.
